Conversion by Katherine Howe

When girls from a prestigious boarding school start to fall ill with a mysterious illness everyone is reaching for answers. From environmental reasons, obscure diagnoses, and even the school's religious origins.

However, sometimes the simplest explanation is right in front of us. And sometimes the past can merge with the present to give us answers.

This book was the perfect mix of mystery and historical fiction. The suspense builds up leaving you wondering if the simple explanation is actually the right one.

Summer is made for traveling and reading

My summer was jump-packed with traveling and reading. Summer gives me the opportunity to read outside my regular genres with extra time to delve deeply into my reading and savor stories. This summer's travel included Idaho, Spain, Utah, and South Dakota. Most of my books continue to be audiobooks provided by Libro.fm, Libby, and/or Hoopla. My books came from local Indie bookstores at each location and local Free Little libraries.
